ICON Vallarta, New $200 Million Luxury
Development by Related International, to Bring Urban Style and
Design to Mexico's Bahia de Banderas
Coast
Oceanfront Condos in
Puerto
Vallarta to Feature Renowned Design by Yoo by
Philippe Starck
The Related Group, the largest developer
of high-end residential condominiums in the
U.S., has unveiled plans for ICON Vallarta, a
new $200 million luxury development in
Puerto
Vallarta,
Mexico. Scheduled to break ground in mid-2007,
the full-ownership, luxury condominiums will be situated on five
acres of stunning oceanfront property with exclusive beach access,
and located just minutes from downtown Vallarta's world class
restaurants and galleries.
Developed by Related International (a
subsidiary of The Related Group) and designed by Yoo by Philippe
Starck, the 343-unit upscale condominiums will include one-, two-
and three-bedroom oceanfront residences -- many with private
elevators. Prices will range from the low $200,000s up to $1
million, an unattainable value for an equivalent product in most
U.S. markets.
"ICON Vallarta will set a new standard
for beachfront residences in
Mexico and be the most exclusive condominium
residence to rise along Puerto
Vallarta's Bahia Banderas," said Roberto Rocha,
president of Related International. "Not only is this an exquisite
location, but the finished product will be unlike any other
condominium ever developed in Latin America with respect to style,
design, amenities and services."
ICON Vallarta will retain the trendy, hip
and modern flavor of The Related Group's other ICON properties, ICON
Brickell and ICON South Beach in Miami. Both were created by renowned design
firm Yoo by Philippe Starck, which has fashioned numerous chic Ian
Schrager hotels as well as the Delano Hotel in
Miami
Beach.
The three, 26-story towers of ICON
Vallarta will bring the outdoors inside with floor-to-ceiling
windows that take advantage of the captivating views of the
Pacific
Ocean, mountain
ranges and downtown Puerto
Vallarta.

ICON
will feature unexpected design elements and a whimsical yet
luxurious flair which play off its natural surroundings. The
property's exterior will subtly mimic ocean waves while seven pool
villas will be set amongst lavish gardens. A shallow pool will flow
through the lobby of the first tower permitting owners to stroll
over a bridge on their way to their elevators. Outside the second
tower, owners will dine at a bistro and bar while seated at tables
set within the water of another pool. A third pool will be divided
into Olympic-length lap and recreation, appearing to flow over its
infinity-edge into the Pacific Ocean. Enclosed in a hacienda-style wall to
ensure privacy, a collection of Mexican art sculptures will surround
the building.
Interior highlights of the residences
include smooth-finished, 10-foot ceilings; terraces with undulating
glass railings accessible from bedrooms and living rooms; spacious
outdoor balconies with a lounging area; Italian cabinets and stone
countertops in the kitchen, and modern master bathrooms with grand
walk-in closets, limestone flooring and vanity top, and a walk-in
marble shower.
ICON Vallarta owners will find an array
of personalized amenities typically found in a Five Star resort,
including 24-hour security service; in-room dining service and
personal chef; world-class concierge services; Currency conversion
and exchange services; pre-arrival grocery provisioning; pet
services; preferred theatre and event tickets, and translation
services.
Sales reservations are now
open.
